a multigenerational campus church

Jesus once said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” (‭Matthew‬ ‭19‬:‭14‬ NLT)

Children clearly mattered to Jesus. Even at a time when others might have felt children were less important.  Jesus wanted His followers to understand the high value He placed on caring for children.

At the Pickerington and Indianola churches children are highly valued. Jenny Hooper oversees our children ministry teams on both campuses.

Children birth-3 are in the nursery where they have loving care and learn about Jesus in an age appropriate lesson. Nursery offered at both the 9:00 & 10:15 services.

3-Kindergarten– offered both services 9 & 10:15. Hands on age appropriate lesson will greet children each week. Teachers in this age group provide beginning of their spiritual development.

1st-6th grade have classes offered at 9:00 for a teaching time to continue developing their spiritual growth with discussions on real life issues. At the 10:15 service the children start in the sanctuary with the adults for worship music, offering and communion. At the start of the sermon, the children will be dismissed to Kids Church where they will be greeted with hands on age appropriate lessons and spiritual development.
