Who was Moses, really? Over the course of the winter months we have examined Moses life from many possible perspectives. Was he a prince, a fugitive, a shepherd, a prophet, a leader, one who was fallen, or, as we will examine this Sunday, a friend of God. Being a true, authentic “friend of God” would be an admirable role. But was would that mean on a day-to-day basis? Is it even possibly for a human being, no matter how close to God they might seem to be, to become a friend of God in any real sense of meaning? As we look over the story recorded in Exodus 33 we will answer these and many other questions as we wrestle with who Moses really was and how he might have been looked upon by God Himself.
