The Great Life – Studies from the Book of Philippians (3:10-21)

This Bible is the most remarkable book ever written. It
was written by a diverse group of writers over a period of several thousand
years. Yet it is held together by central themes that form its framework. Themes
that are so powerful that they suggest that some guiding force had to have
directed its authors. That guiding force was the Holy Spirit who inspired every
word written upon its pages. This Sunday we will be sharing in some of the most
honest, authentic words ever written by a religious leader. As the apostle Paul
describes “The Great Life” and the path we need to take to experience it, he
pauses to share the honest truth about his own personal experiences. This is a
refreshing approach that speaks of the authenticity of the Bible and the character
of the special men who wrote it.
