There are many remarkable parts to the book of Philippians. There are many key passages found in its pages that have been underlined in Bibles and committed to memory. It is a favorite book of many. But the passage we will be turning to this morning is one of the lesser known and more easily overlooked parts of the letter. At first glance it almost seems like a personal interlude before teaching sections. But as we dive deeper into our studies we will find that there are some very significant lessons we can learn – about people, about the value of people, and about what it is like to live a life full out for God.
